The Royal Rumble is one of the WWE’s best events of the calendar year. It kicks off Wrestlemania season in style with one of the most exciting matches of the year (thanks, Pat Patterson).
But one of the things that makes the Royal Rumble so great is the surprise entrants that are usually sprinkled throughout.
No. 1 through N0. 29, there were no such surprises.
That’s why when No. 30 rolled around people were getting excited.

The lights go and the crowd rises to their feet
The Graveyard Symphony begins and flames start shooting up from the stage
The legendary Undertaker emerges on the stage and slowly saunters down the ramp. The hair on the back of your neck stands up, it’s the entrance you’ve been looking forward to all night long.
He walks up the ring steps, raises his hands and the lights turn on. He steps into the ring, removes his hat and coat.
Then you come crashing back to reality.

The first week of the New Year continued the SmackDown dominance over RAW as the A-show in WWE. The fast-paced nature and you never know what will happen appeal makes it more enjoyable as a viewer.
