WARNING: The following quickie post contains Jobber Knocker-on-Jobber Knocker crime.
Enough is enough, Nestlemania.
Week after week you say, “Finn Balor has no chance of beating Brock Lesnar.”
I’m not able to counter you like J.C. has the chance to, so I find myself just yelling at the radio. But it’s time I say my piece. . .
Trust me, I understand where you’re coming from.
Yes, Finn is only 190 pounds. Lesnar is listed on WWE.com as 286.
We get it.
But I KNOW you haven’t forgotten what happened on February 15, 2004 when Eddie Guerrero beat Brock Lesnar. In the match, they said it was more than a 60-pound weight difference.
But weight differences aside, until this week you’ve COMPLETELY IGNORED the obvious answer to the equation.
Since Anderson and Gallows arrived in WWE they’ve teased them joining forces time after time.
They even recently teased it in an “unseen studio photo shots” gallery on WWE.com. (And the best part, the photo of the trio was removed from the gallery.)
Also worth noting, the Bullet Club’s creation coincided with Balor’s (then Prince Devitt) rise from the Junior Heavyweight division to the Heavyweight division. So in a way, the group was made to help make up for Balor’s lack of size against bigger opponents.
It would be the perfect move and could be WWE’s annual “summer storyline” that shakes things up.
At the moment Lesnar is still a face. So you have Balor overcome massive odds and win the Fatal 5-Way match. He gains a ton of momentum and you start to build him as the massive underdog – including telling everyone about the nearly 100-pound weight difference.
Then Balor takes the easy way against out against The Beast by aligning himself with his former buddies.
So, there IS at least one scenario that Balor can beat Lesnar. So stop saying there’s “no chance.”
Plus, you and I both know that ANYTHING can happen in WWE.
