Jeff Jarrett is going into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.

There are going to be a lot of people who hear that and think to themselves, “Why?”

There are also going to be people that say, “This has been deserved for a long time.”

I am here to tell you, both people are wrong.

Simonetti’s Rumble to remember

Derek Simonetti
Proving Ground Wrestling

It’s Royal Rumble time again, which means the Road to Wrestlemania has begun. In recent years, the road to Wrestlemania has often been paved in disappointment. Roman Reigns was number 30 last year. . . Fuck You!

I have been accused of being one of those wrestling fans that pines for the “Old Days.” However, the “Old Days” to some people means the attitude era, and the attitude era sucked (I don’t care, fight me). No no, I pine to go back to the days wrestling historians refer to as, “The absolute worst time in the business monetarily,” The New Generation Era.

From the nosebleeds to backstage: Recalling 1993 Survivor Series

By Todd Graham – Proving Ground Wrestling

This weekend, the 31st Survivor Series will emanate from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and it will be headlined by some blockbuster inter-promotional matches.

For many reasons, I consider 1993 to be my favorite year in wrestling, but for today’s discussion, it’s because I was in attendance at the 1993 Survivor Series. Now, you are going to read a lot of articles about top ten lists, and best moments, and all of that, but what you won’t read a lot of is personal experiences from the eyes of a 7-year-old child when it comes to wrestling shows from over 20 years ago.

Fantasy Booking WrestleMania 34 With JC

Yes, we are around 8 months away from WrestleMania. A lot is going to change in WWE between then and now. But, it is never too early to HOPE or dream when it comes to wrestling. So before you start telling me none of these matches will ever happen or there is no way all these scenarios can play out, read the title of this article once more. No Mercy is coming up and this random RAW brand PPV in the middle of September is headlined by two WrestleMania main event level matches. Brock Lesnar (c) vs Braun Strowman for the WWE Universal Championship has been my hope for the WrestleMania 34 main event since Brock won the championship this past year. Roman Reigns vs John Cena would have been the perfect co-main event for the biggest show of the year. Could these matches happen again? Absolutely, and maybe they will be part of my dream card below.

Why Carmella’s Money in the Bank win was perfect

The women of WWE have been kicking down the doors and breaking barriers the past few years as they continue their long journey to booking equality. On Sunday night the first ever Women’s Money in the Bank match took place and kicked off the show. What ensued was met with anger and complaints from the WWE Universe.

The Maharaja’s WWE title victory “marks” one for the ages!

Written by Guthrie The Ring Announcer

It was a classic portrayal of good versus evil this past Sunday at Backlash inside of the Allstate Arena when perhaps the most unlikely of adversaries stepped into the ring with the defending champion, Randy Orton. Heading into Sunday, many fans were very quick to dismiss any chances of Jinder Mahal – a competitor we’ve seen job to other talent endlessly since his return to the company – dethroning The Viper. But to the dismay of all those naysayers, evil prevailed Sunday night when the most illustrious prize in the business, the WWE Championship, was raised high in the air by The Maharaja himself. And this time, it wasn’t because Jinder managed to steal the belt from Orton, it was because Jinder won the belt by pinning Orton.
