Extreme Rules is THIS Sunday on the WWE Network, but man oh man has WWE programming been brutal lately. This week’s RAW and SmackDown shows were once again sub-par with not a lot of strong segments. Let’s hope that RAW can find some storylines with their upper card, because right now it is lame. SmackDown has been unable to find its groove since the Superstar Shakeup and I am not as excited for Money in the Bank as I should be. But let’s get down to the rankings!
I thought both RAW and SmackDown had huge bounce back weeks and I enjoyed the overall programming. RAW found a way to replace Braun Strowman for at least this week and seems to be off and running towards Extreme Rules. SmackDown I thought had a very strong go home show for BackLash this Sunday.
Tough to be too inspired after this week of wrestling as there seemed to be a lot of filler. RAW had its worst show in weeks and SmackDown did little as we build towards Backlash. There were some strong performances however, so let’s get to the rankings.
I thought Payback way over delivered based on my expectations. The match quality was strong throughout and any time Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss pick up big wins, JC is a happy man.
Payback is this Sunday for the RAW brand (and some of the SmackDown guys too) with Backlash soon to follow. RAW had its usual ups and downs and SmackDown, per usual, gave us a solid show. Lets get to the rankings!
After a brief hiatus JC’s Weekly Top 20 Power Rankings are back in a big way this week! New #1 contenders are popping up everywhere on SmackDown and Payback is fast approaching for the RAW brand!
Wrestlemania. . .
It’s Nestlemania’s Christmas. It’s the showcase of the immortals. It’s the ultimate thrill ride.
This year I had the chance to live it, and it was truly everything I could have imagined. . . and more.
